Zoom Airlines
Corporate Public Relations / Current
Introduction
Media House has handled all PR and media relations for Zoom Airlines since it was incorporated in 2002. Most recently we coordinated the launch of Zoom’s new route between Gatwick and New York - which gained widespread coverage on both sides of the Atlantic.
Objectives
To plan and implement an ongoing PR campaign based on international corporate activities and new services from 5 UK destinations and 8 Canadian destinations. To increase positive media coverage amongst travel and leisure publications and mainstream press. To provide crisis management support when necessary.
Results
Over the last three years Zoom Airlines has benefited from consistent media coverage in virtually every regional and national newspaper in the UK, in target specialist press, and on all major broadcast outlets.
Media House has undertaken a variety of innovative and exciting activities to generate positive PR for Zoom Airlines including: a mid-air press conference for the company’s inaugural launch event, airside photo-shoots at airports with Canadian mounties, a ski photo-shoot with British Olympic Alpine skier, Chemmy Alcott and a number of joint radio promotional campaigns including the “Run-away-Bride” competition in conjunction with Mercury FM.
Testimony
“Zoom has enjoyed a very successful relationship with Media House since the inception of our transatlantic airline in 2003. Extensive media coverage was secured for our inaugural launch event and there has been a continuing stream of positive press coverage surrounding new route announcements and exciting activities. In particularly, the media coverage attained for the launch of our new flights to New York last summer was extremely impressive on both sides of the Atlantic.”
