Tom Cassidy

Tom Cassidy has more than 30 years' experience in the newspaper and PR industries.

He has held senior editorial executive positions in Mirror Group Newspapers and Express Newspapers and was a key member of the PR and Public Affairs team at the Greater Glasgow Health Board, the biggest health board in Europe.

While at GGHB Tom helped steer the organisation through the most tumultuous period in its history - including hospital closures, the establishment of numerous management trusts, staff reductions and the removal of a high profile chairman in a politically sensitive environment.

Tom's move to Media House renewed his working relationship with Jack Irvine which stretches back over 25 years. He now specialises in running the Crisis Desk at Media House, where he has a very successful track record in lobbying government bodies.
