Steelcase Newsbrief

Charity Challenge

Unpredictable weather, heights of 1344m, uneven terrain, the three peaks challenge is not for faint-hearted but armed with walking sticks and hiking boots, Steelcase employees will not be deterred.

The challenge is to be completed within 24 hours and involves 26 miles of ascent and decent starting with Ben Nevis in Western Scotland, the highest and most distant of the three, followed by Scafell Pike in North-Western England and finishing the challenge with Snowdon in North Wales.

Every year Steelcase partake in a challenge to raise money for a different charity and this year’s recipient is Wateraid, who work to supply clean drinking water to the developing world .

The charity challenge is just one element of  Steelcase’s commitment towards creating a better world. Steelcase also enjoy a fantastic partnership with Green Works, a non-for-profit social enterprise providing redundant office furniture for re-use by schools, charities and community organisations and we encourage all clients to sign up to a furniture re-use scheme coordinated by Green-Works wherever possible.

We look forward to sharing photographs of some very tired and possibly slightly dishevelled participants of the Steelcase charity challenge in the next newsletter – stay tuned!
