STEELCASE JOINS ECO-FRIENDLY FORCES WITH GREEN-WORKS
Steelcase has formed a partnership in the UK with Green-Works, the not-for-profit social enterprise which provides redundant office furniture for re-use by schools, charities and community organisations.
Steelcase supports Green-Works’ policy of zero landfill throughout the UK and wholly endorses the charity’s take-back initiatives which sees old furniture removed from offices and re-distributed.
Mark Spragg, Managing Director of Steelcase UK, said: “Green-Works provide a fantastic service which allows organisations to deal with their old office furniture in a socially and environmentally responsible way. We hope to promote this service to customers all across the UK through our network of dealers, our sales staff and the rest of the Steelcase team.”

Steelcase's B Free Lounge has been awarded the ‘Editor’s choice award’ by respected industry magazine, Business Info.
James Goulding, Editor of Business Info attended our customer event at the Royal Society of Arts in June and awarded B Free Lounge the ‘Editor’s choice’ for functionality, design and innovation.
B Free Lounge is made up of fabric covered; cubes, beams, tables, stools and accessories, which can be arranged in any number of combinations to suit the environment they are placed in. Steelcase introduces Eastside the vanguard in versatile visitor
seating
Steelcase is underlining the importance of functionality in office furniture design with the launch of the company’s new range of visitor seating, Eastside.
Mark Spragg, Managing Director of Steelcase UK, said: “Eastside is an ideal example of a functional yet stylish seating product. With removable arm rests, castors and seat top writing tables, it is easy to reconfigure – ideal for conference, impromptu meetings and teaming tasks. The range has been developed with versatility and comfort in mind. It is also an easy stacker, with no sharp edges, great for storage."
CLASH OF THE TITANS
Last week Steelcase took on the might of BT and Telereal at the annual golf day at the Forest of Arden Golf course.
