Generations at work seminar

For the first time in history, four generations of people are working side by side in offices today. Recruiting and retaining this increasingly diverse workforce presents new challenges for employers, facilities managers, designers and architects.

In order to address these challenges, Steelcase will be hosting a Generations At Work seminar in collaboration with the Oxford Institute for Ageing where we will be exploring the relationships between the generations and their impact on business practices.

Derek Ross, Research Fellow at the Institute, will speak on how to assess and prolong the workability and employability of ageing workers. Catherine Gall, head of Workspace Future Research for Steelcase, will be looking at how workplace design can be used to promote positive relationships among different generations. Both will be discussing the latest research into generations at work and how to increase communication flow and convergence.

The breakfast seminar will be held at 8.30am on Friday the 8th June at:

Steelcase
183 Eversholt Street
London
NW1 1BU
