Steelcase and Carey Jones Kit-Out Calyon
Global
corporate and investment bank, Calyon have just taken a ‘Leap’ into
the future of the office by kitting out their new trading floors
in Broadgate, London with Steelcase’s award winning Leap chair.
With its advanced design and innovative features Leap was selected
by Calyon as the ideal seating system to compliment leading architect
Carey Jones Interiors’ innovative office design.
Andrew Allenby, Head of Property and Corporate Services at Calyon
said: “We conducted a two-month-long user trial with ten different
suppliers. Overall, staff voted Leap the most comfortable and ergonomically
sound chair.”
User tests have shown that the Leap chair reduces lower back pain,
discomfort and musculo-skeletal disorders. Leap offers a flexible
backrest, separate upper and lower back controls and a dynamic seat.
Lesley Orgill from Carey Jones Interiors added: “It’s
important to ensure that office products are in harmony with the
design of the office space. Steelcase’s Leap chair fitted our
concept best.”
