Introduction
Media House has been working with the world’s largest office furniture designer and manufacturer since April 2006. Founded in 1912 and headquartered in Michigan, Steelcase (NYSE:SCS) serves customers through a network of more than 800 independent dealers and approximately 13,000 employees.
Objectives
To strengthen brand awareness in the commercial and public sectors in the UK through a number of different marketing and public relations initiatives. To reinforce relations with Steelcase’s network of UK dealers.
Results
Steelcase has generated new sales contracts directly from the events which we have hosted. The integrity of the Steelcase brand has been strengthened by providing communications support and regional events throughout the dealership network. Steelcase has received extensive press coverage in target press sectors including business, design, facilities management, environmental and government sector press and have featured in ITV series Homes and Property.
Activity has included the formation of strategic partnerships with the charitable sector; press visits to Steelcase installations; product launches; production of sales collaterals and customers communications, and a schedule of events including a working trends conference at the Royal Society of Arts, an outdoor ergonomic event in the City of London, attendance at the Procurement Solutions for the Public Sector show and a road-show seminar on ‘Generations at Work. Most recently we planned the launch of Steelcase’s new UK headquarters in London, commissioning an exhibition by renowned photographer Terry O’Neill to be unveiled at the opening.
