Andy worked in national newspapers for 25 years before joining Media House.
He has held executive roles with several papers including the Daily Mirror, The Sun, Daily Express and Daily Record.
During his five year spell as the Mirror’s US Editor in New York he won awards for his reporting and analysis of the 9/11 attacks.
Andy has worked across a spectrum of both news and sports projects and has interviewed some of the world’s most prominent figures including Bill Clinton, John McCain, Mike Tyson and Diego Maradona.
He has covered football World Cups and Ashes cricket matches and reported extensively on London’s successful bid for the 2012 Olympics.
In addition he has a wealth of international experience reporting from countries across the globe including Somalia, Qatar, Pakistan, South Africa, Brazil, Argentina and Canada.
